We are 2 hours drive from Auckland Airport. Take State Highway 1 south out of the city. Turn onto State Highway 2 signposted for Coromandel Peninsula. Take State Highway 25 also signed to the Coromandel. Once you cross the big new Kopu Bridge, turn right at the roundabout. Take the next left which is State Highway 25A to Tairua. Follow the road over the mountain and you will reach Tairua in 35 minutes. We are in the town centre, just before the single lane bridge on the left hand side on the road. |
